Do you like working with big machines? Become a forklift truck driver at a modern terminal in Moerdijk and make sure heavy and bulky loads end up safely in the right place.
As a forklift truck driver you are a key figure in the logistics process at the terminal. You work independently, with a keen eye for safety and care for the load.
What you will do
- Loading and unloading: you load and unload lorries, inland vessels and trailers
- Moving: you transport and stack goods in the right place
- Recording: you process movements in the system
- Checking: you check your vehicle before use and report defects
- Teamwork: you coordinate with colleagues on site
- Safety: you work according to the safety rules at the terminal
What you bring
- You have extensive experience driving a forklift truck
- You hold a valid forklift certificate
- You work safely and precisely, also with heavier loads
- You are available for shift work
- You speak Dutch or English
Working hours
Shift work, you receive the rota in advance.
What you get from us
- €14.99 to €19.00 gross per hour, depending on work experience
- Pay equal to that of permanent colleagues at the client, under the NBBU collective agreement
- Premiums for evening, night, weekend and public holiday work, where applicable
- Weekly payment
- 8.33% holiday pay and 25 days off under the NBBU collective agreement
- Pension build-up through StiPP under the collective agreement
- Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometre from 10 km one way
